In October 2017 I created more than 100 donuts for Goodoil, video production. It was for a St George advertisement.
In July 2018 I completed 2 days of work experience with Flour and Stone bakery in Woolloomooloo.
In November 2017, I won the Cupcakes4aCure competition. I hosted an afternoon tea party with cupcakes and tea for the Kids Cancer project. I raised $515 and entered this photo which won the happiest cupcakes photo. I got to fly to Melbourne and attend a private cupcake class with Nick Makrides from The Scran Line!
In early January, 2019, I appeared in the "Teen cooks buck the 'can't boil an egg' trend" article in the Sydney Morning herald. Click the photo to read the online version.
In December, 2018 I assisted Katherine Sabbath at her Christmas Cake Classes! There was 3 classes over 3 days each with 14 students.
In October 2018, I completed 3 days of work experience at Textbook Patisserie in Alexandria.

ABOUT ME
Hey! I'm Orlando, a 15 year old Sydney boy who loves to bake. I'm self-taught and have learnt a lot of my knowledge from watching YouTube videos and cooking shows. I launched Orlando's Sweets in June, 2017, after creating my first ever big cake for my brothers 21st birthday. From there people were asking me to create their cakes. It grew and I thought I could actually turn this into something. So I created my small business, Orlando's Sweets. I then went about creating an Instagram page. Today I have over 1,800 followers on Instagram and get an average of 200-400 likes :)
